ETA uptime for Fisher is around 17:00 PDT. Backup generators are supposedly submerged. Other generators being brought in from Portland. I haven’t had to do much work today… Though Japan is on the weekend, we’re going to catch some flak from our client when they come in Monday. ack.
Fisher outage. 100 degrees F in the lanes. Had to shut down servers. =(
There seems to have been a fire in our datacenter in Fisher Plaza by the Space Needle around 23:00-0:00 night of Jul 2 PDT. Fire caused power outages and cut off supply from backup diesel generator. Our server room is totally dark- ~20 racks powered down and it is really hot inside. Egis estimates 2 days to recover (!?)
